While traveling through Idaho, we decided to stop in Twin Falls and go check out the Shoshone Falls. Also known as “The Niagara of the West”. The water was roaring over the cliffs and boulders with an amazing amount of power and sound. Upon first arriving, there was a fine mist billowing up from the lake below as the volumes of water crash into the surface some 212 feet from the rim. There were a lot of visitors enjoying the sights and sounds of the falls, almost all were taking pictures or video. I wanted to fly my drone for what would have been some awesome photos, however… there were signs posted stating that activity was not allowed. After enjoying this stop on the Snake River, and of course getting a few sunset pictures, we drove back to the RV for some dinner and shuteye.
