Week of August 11th
After a weekend side trip to visit our son, I am back in the RV, we are parked at Blue Lake RV Resort in Naples, ID. This is our home base for the next week as my wife attends the YL Glamping event and I relax and fish and sight-see. This is a beautiful state with lots of different topography. You’ve probably heard of Coeur d’Alene Idaho, it’s a more upscale area right on the waters of a large lake with the same name. Well, Naples is about an hour drive North of there and it is nestled in a quiet valley. I drove around a couple of different days and explored, taking pictures. One of those trips was up a mountain on a logging road, where I took some nice pics.
When I stayed in camp, I was able to fish in the pond that was on the property. There were only small catfish biting, but I was told there were a couple of large Walleyes and one tagged trout that were seen. There was also paddle boats kayaks and swimming available. Eleanore had a nice place to play and run. Nice cool weather under the tall trees where we had the RV, but no internet.
Shot of the YL farm through the trees from the mountain trail Close up of previous shot This is one of the logging road turnouts This is the kind of trail I like to investigate View for miles from this mountain trail Wonder whats around the corner? Hidden stream under the wooden bridge Thought this was a neat shot of a dad and his two sons fishing quietly I just thought this was a cool picture I took at the campground
