We left home pulling our 4×4 truck behind us, we made it as far as Abilene and had to pull into a parking lot to get some sleep. After walking the dog and grabbing a large cup of coffee, we continued heading to Lubbock to see our son. After visiting a couple of hours and having a nice lunch with him, we aimed West and set our next stop as Tucumcari, NM.
